Clean and dry all parts.
Apply a small amount of grease to the bearing housing to load the needle roller.
Mount the bearing housing, felt, and washer back to the cross neck. Then cross the axle sleeve into the universal joint fork (expansion joint fork). One side of the oil cup is facing the drive shaft and is loaded into the bearing housing. Then put the cover plate and the bolt lock. Tighten the bolts, the cross shaft should be able to rotate, not stuck or axial loosening. Finally, the bolt is locked by locking piece.
Some models of the universal joint, with hammer tapping the bearing shell to wear on the outside, but can not be installed in the partial or hammer excessive, avoid to damage the parts to be exposed and the lock ring lock ring groove, the lock so far.
When fitted, the tightness should be checked and it can be easily rotated without looseness. The clearance between the fork and the bearing shell of the universal joint is 0 - 0.04mm. The bearing housing shall not bite with the oil seal seat.
After inspection, grease is injected.
