Reason

The cardan joint is too tight and inflexible to rotate.
Diagnosis
At low speeds appear crisp and rhythmic metal percussion sound, coasting in neutral sound when clearly exists, the majority of the gimbal bearing outer ring is pressed, the rotation is not flexible. Such failures often occur after repairs and repairs.
Increase the speed after the sound increases, especially coasting in neutral, until disappeared after stopping. For intermediate bearing ring, if the sound muddy, dull and continuous, it indicates that the bearing pieces, removable drive shaft gear running, verify the sound is from the middle bearing. If the sound is continuous, can loosen the bearing cap bolt. If the sound disappears, indicating that the intermediate bearing installation deviation, if there is still noise, should check the bearing lubrication.
