Universal joint

Universal joint is a key component of automobile transmission shaft. A car is a moving object. 2. Transmission features:

In front engine rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive the car, because the car suspension deformation in the process of movement, the main reducer input shaft drive shaft and transmission (or transfer case) often have relative movement between the output shaft, moreover, to effectively avoid some institutions or device, the inability to achieve linear transfer, must have a device to realize the dynamic normal pass, then a universal joint transmission. The universal joint drive must have the following characteristics:

A. Ensure that the relative position of the two connected shafts changes within the expected range, and can reliably transmit power;

B. Ensure that the two shafts connected can operate evenly. The additional load, vibration and noise caused by the Angle between the universal joints should be within the allowable range;

C. High transmission efficiency, long service life, simple structure, convenient manufacturing, easy maintenance. For the automobile, because the output shaft of a cross shaft universal joint is not equal to the rotation of the input shaft (with a certain Angle), it is necessary to use double universal joint (or more universal joints) transmission, and the two universal joint forks connected with the transmission shaft are arranged in the same plane, and the Angle of the two universal joints is equal. This is very important. The Angle of universal joint should be reduced as far as possible in design.

Expansion sets

The transmission shaft expansion sleeve of traditional structure is to weld the spline sleeve and flange fork together, and weld the spline shaft on the transmission shaft tube. The new type of drive shaft is a change of traditional structure, the spline sleeve and drive shaft tube welded into one, the spline shaft and flange fork into one. The rectangular tooth spline is changed into a large pressure Angle involute short tooth spline, which not only increases the strength, but also facilitates extrusion forming, so as to meet the needs of large torque conditions. In the tooth surface of the telescopic sleeve and spline shaft, the whole coated with a layer of nylon material, not only increases the wear resistance and self-lubrication, but also reduces the impact load on the transmission shaft damage, improve the buffer capacity.

The drive shaft in the flange spline shaft is added a tubular sealing protective sleeve, in the end of the protective sleeve is provided with two polyurethane rubber oil seal, so that the telescopic sleeve formed a completely sealed space, so that the telescopic spline shaft is not eroded by external dust, not only dust and rust prevention. Therefore, in the assembly of spline shaft and sleeve one-time smear grease, you can fully meet the requirements of use, do not need to install nozzle lubrication, reduce the maintenance content.

Shaft sleeve

It is designed to reduce friction and wear when the shaft is moving. The basic purpose is the same as the bearing, and the relative cost is cheaper, but the friction resistance is large, so it will only be used in part of the parts. Most of the bushing is made of copper, but there are also plastic bushing. The bushing is placed in the shaft and the supporting structure, and it is very close to the supporting structure, and only the shaft can rotate on the sleeve. In the assembly of shaft and sleeve, lubricant will be added between the two to reduce the friction caused by rotation.
