The wear problem

Symptoms Diagnosis:

Drive shaft parts damage, wear, deformation and loss of dynamic balance, will cause abnormal sound and vibration in the car, serious will lead to the damage of related components. The car driving, in the start or rapid acceleration of the "gedeng" sound, and obviously show the feeling of loose, if not the drive axle gear loose is obviously the drive shaft loose. The parts of Songkuang are nothing more than universal joint cross bearing or steel bowl and flange fork, spline shaft and spline sleeve of telescopic sleeve. In general, the cross-shaft shaft diameter and bearing space should not exceed 0.13mm, telescopic spline shaft and spline sleeve mesh clearance should not be greater than 0.3mm. Should be repaired or replaced beyond the limit of use.

In the car driving, if the chassis happens "buzzing" sound, and the higher the running speed, the greater the sound. This is generally due to the wear and tear of the universal joint cross shaft and bearing, the wear and tear of the intermediate bearing of the drive shaft, the damage of the intermediate rubber support or the loosening of the hanger, or the incorrect fixed position of the hanger.

Solution:

1) Traditional methods

Domestic commonly used for the shaft wear is repair welding, bushings, pitting and other methods, but when the shaft is made of 45 # steel, quenched and tempered treatment, if only by surfacing welding processing, can produce welding stress, in the case of heavy load and high speed, can appear the phenomenon of crack and fracture at shoulder, if use the stress relieving, is difficult to operate, and the processing cycle is long, the high cost of maintenance; When the material of the shaft is HT200, cast iron welding is not ideal. Some enterprises with higher maintenance technology will use brush plating, laser welding, micro arc welding and even cold welding, etc., which often require higher requirements and high costs.

Balance problems

Symptom diagnosis: when the car is under heavy load, especially in the bumping occasionally, it should pay attention to check whether the balance shaft of the rear axle is dislocated and interferes with the transmission shaft. If the noise increases with the speed of the car in operation, and accompanied by jitter, it is generally due to the loss of balance caused by the drive shaft. The vibration is most pronounced in the cockpit.

The failure of dynamic balance of transmission shaft will lead to the damage of related components. The most common are cracks in the clutch housing and fatigue damage of the intermediate rubber support.

Solution:

The front wheel with the pad plug, with a jack up the car side of the middle and rear drive axle; Start the engine, put it in high gear, and check the shimmy of the drive shaft. During inspection, notice that when the speed drops, if the shimmy increases significantly, it indicates that the shaft is bent or the flange is skewed.

Drive shaft bending is shaft tube bending, most of which is caused by car overload. Coal transport vehicles due to overload, overhang, shaft bending, fracture of the fault occurred more. If some cars plus trailers pull more than 60 tons of coal, the drive shaft due to overload, overhang serious damage. Although the middle support of the drive shaft has been strengthened and the strength of the flange fork has been strengthened, the fault of fracture and damage still appears.

Replace the drive shaft parts, after straightening, balance check should be carried out, unbalance should meet the standard requirements. The technical condition of the universal joint fork and the transmission shaft hanger should also be checked in detail. If the installation is not satisfactory, the cross shaft and roller damage will cause loose and vibration, and the transmission shaft will be out of balance.
