The drive shaft assembly is located at the bottom of the car chassis and plays the role of power transmission. Because the drive shaft assembly is equipped with universal joint bearing, middle hanger bearing and spline expansion joint, in order to ensure the normal operation of the drive shaft assembly, it is recommended that the drive shaft assembly should be regularly maintained, the requirements are as follows:

1. Universal joint bearings

Regular filling of grease, road vehicles are generally filled once every 10000Km driving, dump trucks, cement mixing vehicles are generally filled once every 5000Km driving. Grease brand: universal joint special grease. Grease filling method: add grease from the nozzle of the universal joint until grease spills out of the bowl mouth of one universal joint shaft. Mining vehicles and engineering vehicles with poor road conditions should shorten the time or mileage of grease filling.

2. Hanger bearing with intermediate hanger drive shaft

(1) The hanger of the end face tooth connected drive shaft adopts maintenance-free bearing, without oil injection;

(2) Grease should be added regularly to the bearing of the flat connected drive shaft hanger. Generally, grease should be added once every 10000Km. The brand number of grease is: 2# automotive general lithium base grease. Grease filling method: Add grease from spline connection plate grease nozzle until grease overflow at hanger mouth.

3. Drive shaft with spline expansion joint

Add grease to spline regularly. Generally, add grease once every 10000Km for road vehicles, and add grease once every 5000Km for dump trucks and cement mixers. Grease brand number: No. 2 automotive general lithium base grease. Grease filling method: Add grease from the spline shaft casing nozzle until the casing oil seal part of grease overflow. Mining vehicles and engineering vehicles with poor road conditions should shorten the time or mileage of grease filling.

4. Shorten the maintenance cycle of the drive shaft used in mud, dust, ozone, high and low temperature and other harsh environment.

5. Inspection items of first drive shaft (2000~5000 km)
