1. Low carbon steel has good plasticity, low strength and hardness, good weldability and cold stamping processability, and can be used to make various standard parts, shaft sleeves, containers, etc;
2. High carbon steel has poor plasticity, high hardness, poor fatigue strength and poor machinability, and the toughness of shaft parts is not enough and easy to break. This kind of steel is suitable for making static pressure bearing and wear-resistant parts, such as heavy rail and roll. After proper heat treatment, spring, steel wire rope and other parts requiring high hardness and high wear resistance can also be made;
3. Medium carbon steel can obtain good comprehensive mechanical properties after appropriate heat treatment, so as to achieve parts with tough core and wear-resistant surface.
So what should we pay attention to in daily maintenance:
1. Before use, the transmission shaft must be filled with automobile special grease at the oil filling places such as universal joint, intermediate support and sliding spline.
2. The lubrication of universal joint, intermediate support and sliding spline must be checked every 7 days or 2000 kilometers. If the lubrication is poor, special grease for automobile shall be added. No. 3 lithium grease shall be injected in summer and No. 2 lithium grease shall be injected in winter.
3. It is strictly prohibited to start with high gear, violently lift the clutch pedal, overload, overspeed and other nonstandard operations.
4. Because the fastening bolts of the transmission shaft are easy to loosen and fall off in the heavy-duty transmission environment, the daily maintenance of the transmission shaft is mainly to fasten the connecting bolts and add grease. When filling the universal joint, intermediate support, sliding spline and other parts of the transmission shaft with special automobile grease, the oil nozzle shall be cleaned and unobstructed first, and the blocked or deformed oil nozzle shall be replaced in time. The oil filling amount shall be subject to the overflow of new oil. Check the fastening of the bolts and nuts of each part of the transmission shaft, especially the connecting bolts of the lug fork and the fixing bolts of the intermediate support bracket, which shall be tightened according to the specified torque.
