As the support frame of automobile transmission shaft, transmission shaft hanger is composed of support frame, bearing and rubber support.

The transmission shaft assembly is located at the lower end of the automobile chassis and plays a role in transmitting power. Since the transmission shaft assembly is equipped with universal joint bearing, intermediate hanger bearing and spline expansion joint, in order to ensure the normal operation of the transmission shaft assembly, it is recommended that the transmission shaft assembly be regularly maintained. The requirements are as follows:

1. universal joint bearing

The lubricating grease shall be filled regularly. Generally, the highway truck shall be filled every 10000km, and the dump truck and cement mixer shall be filled every 5000km. The brand of grease is: special grease for universal joint. Grease filling method: fill grease from the universal joint oil nozzle until grease overflows from the bowl mouth of one universal joint shaft. Mining vehicles and engineering vehicles with poor road conditions shall shorten the time or driving mileage for grease filling.

2. hanger bearing with intermediate hanger drive shaft

① Maintenance free bearing is adopted for the hanger of the transmission shaft connected with the end tooth, and oil injection is not required;

② Lubricating grease shall be regularly added to the hanger bearing of the plane connected transmission shaft. Generally, the lubricating grease shall be added every 10000km. The brand of lubricating grease is: 2\\automobile general lithium grease. Grease filling method: fill grease from the oil nozzle of spline connecting plate until there is grease overflow at the hanger mouth.

3. Drive shaft with spline expansion joint

Grease the splines regularly, once every 10000km for general road vehicles, and once every 5000km for dump trucks and cement mixers. Brand of lubricating grease: No.2 general lithium grease for automobile. Grease filling method: fill grease from the grease nozzle of the spline shaft protective sleeve until the grease overflows from the oil seal of the sleeve. Mining vehicles and engineering vehicles with poor road conditions shall shorten the time or driving mileage for grease filling.

4. shorten the maintenance cycle for the drive shaft used in harsh environments such as mud, dust, ozone, high and low temperature, etc.

5. inspection items of the first transmission shaft (2000~5000 km)

① Lubricate the drive shaft telescopic sleeve and the drive shaft universal joint bearing

② Check the transmission shaft hanger bolts

③ Check the transmission shaft connecting bolts
