What is the cause of loose transmission shaft support

1. The flange connections (or connecting bolts) of the transmission shaft are loose, resulting in noise.

2. Grease fittings (commonly known as grease fittings) and cross shaft oil passages are blocked and cannot be filled with grease, grease is not filled on schedule, and cross shaft oil seal

3. The installation configuration of universal cross shaft is too tight.

4. The loose fit between the sleeve and the fork hole of the universal joint and the loose bolt of the support plate affect the operation of the sleeve, so that the fork hole of the universal joint is excessively worn and loose, resulting in noise.

5. The spline of the second shaft of the transmission and the internal spline of the flange are excessively worn, resulting in looseness and noise.

The transmission shaft is a high-speed, less supported rotating body, so its dynamic balance is very important. Generally, the transmission shaft shall be subject to dynamic balance test before leaving the factory and adjusted on the balancing machine. For front engine rear wheel drive vehicles, the transmission rotation is transmitted to the shaft of the main reducer. It can be several joints, and the joints can be connected by universal joints.

The transmission shaft is composed of a shaft tube, an expansion sleeve and a universal joint. The telescopic sleeve can automatically adjust the distance between the transmission and the drive axle. The universal joint ensures the change of the included angle between the output shaft of the transmission and the input shaft of the drive axle, and realizes the constant angular speed transmission of the two shafts.
