There are roughly two types of wipers. One is the traditional intermittent type, which is a common wiper. It has three to four sections, which are adjusted by the driver according to the rain and the line of sight; The other is the rain drop sensing type, which is mostly used in medium and high-grade models. Then the wiper manufacturer briefly introduces the selection method of wiper:

1. First, find out what kind of wiper is used in your car. Refer to the manual attached to your car to see the wiper model indicated above.

2. Pay attention to whether the way in which the strut is connected to the wiper rocker arm is matched. Because some support arms are fixed to the rocker arm with screws, while others are locked with convex buckles.

3. Pull up the wiper and touch the cleaned rubber wiper with your fingers to check whether there is damage and the elasticity of the rubber blade. If the blade is aged, hardened and cracked, the wiper is unqualified.

4. During the test, place the wiper switch at various speed positions and check whether the wiper at different speeds maintains a certain speed. Especially in the intermittent working state, pay attention to whether the wiper keeps a certain speed when moving.

5. Check the wiping status and whether the wiping support rod swings unevenly or misses scraping. If the following three conditions occur, the wiper is unqualified.

(1) The swing is not smooth, and the wiper does not jump normally;

(2) The contact surface of the rubber and the glass surface cannot be completely fitted, resulting in wiping residue;

(3) After wiping, the glass surface presents a water film state, and small stripes, fog and linear residues are generated on the glass.

6. During the test, pay attention to whether the motor has abnormal noise, especially when the wiper motor "buzzes" and does not rotate. This indicates that the mechanical transmission part of the wiper is rusted or stuck. At this time, the wiper switch should be turned off immediately to prevent burning the motor.

7. Some people think that the longer the wiper blade, the larger the brush area and the better the field of vision. In fact, the longer the wiper blade, the better. Although lengthening the wiper blade length can increase the visible range of the field of vision, it will also increase the burden on the wiper motor and wiper rod. Of course, it's OK to lengthen it, but make sure it doesn't interfere with the normal operation of the wiper.
