The transmission shaft is a rotating body with high speed and few supports, so its dynamic balance is very important. Generally, the drive shaft shall be subject to dynamic balancing test before delivery and adjusted on the balancing machine. Therefore, a group of transmission shafts are matched and delivered, and special attention should be paid in use. Unbalanced transmission shaft endangers safe driving.

The installation of transmission shaft hanger is very important in maintenance. If the hanger is installed improperly, the running resistance and noise of the drive shaft will be increased. When reinstalling the transmission shaft hanger, first, do not tighten the fixing bolts of the hanger, so that the driving wheel of the car is supported off the ground with a jack, shift to the low gear (top the car with a cushion wood), and slowly rotate it to align the transmission shaft and the hanger automatically. Then tighten the fixing bolts of the hanger. After replacing the transmission shaft components and straightening, the balance shall be checked, and the unbalance shall meet the standard requirements. The technical conditions of the universal joint fork and the transmission shaft hanger shall also be checked in detail. If the installation is unqualified, the cross shaft and roller are damaged, resulting in looseness and vibration, which will also cause the transmission shaft to lose balance.
